Most of our group checks out today (a few rooms stay until June 23). Late check-out is available for a fee, and the lobby courtesy showers and luggage storage are there if your flight is later in the day.

Suits, evening dresses and elegant separates. The ceremony is on the beach, so lighter fabrics and block heels or wedges are a smart choice, and June evenings are warm and humid.

The resort requires every wedding guest to book through our group block to be counted in our headcount and attend the private wedding events. Rooms booked through Expedia, other travel sites or the hotel website can’t be added to our group.

Example: 5 nights (June 17–22) in a Family Club One Bedroom Suite, sharing with one other adult = $250 × 5 = $1,250 per person. Child and teen rates apply when sharing a room with two paying adults. Flights
Fly into PUJ
Book flights into Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ). The resort is roughly a 30-minute drive away.
If you book your own airfare, send only the flights into and out of Punta Cana (connections don’t matter) to Priscilla at least 45 days before arrival. If flight details aren’t received by 15 days before arrival, transfers are removed and can’t be rebooked.

Getting to the resort
- Shared, round trip: $25 per adult, $12 per child (3–12)
- Private, round trip: $85 per vehicle, up to 6 people
Add transfers when you book with Priscilla. A representative will meet our group at the airport with a sign. Transfers can’t be changed or refunded within 48 hours of travel.
Peace of mind
Trip protection
We strongly recommend it. After April 17, 2027, cancellations and reductions are charged the full cost of the room, and before that the $500 deposit is non-refundable.
Trip protection must be paid in full when it’s added and is non-refundable. Ask Priscilla which plan fits you.

- Up to April 16, 2027: room changes are free
- Name changes after April 16: $25 per person (more than 30 days out), $75 per person (15–30 days out)
- Within 14 days of travel: no name changes
- Within 30 days of travel: no changes to dates, length of stay or occupancy
Before you go
Travel checklist
- Passport: make sure it’s valid for your whole trip, and that the names you give Priscilla match it exactly.
- Dominican Republic e-Ticket: a free online entry and exit form, required for all travelers. Complete it at the official government site (eticket.migracion.gob.do) within a few days of each flight.
- Credit card: the resort may place a hold at check-in for incidentals.
- Flight details: send them to Priscilla if you booked your own airfare.
- Pack: reef-safe sunscreen, bug spray, beachwear, a formal outfit for the wedding and something beach business casual for the welcome event.

Can I book my room through Expedia or the hotel website?
Please don’t! To be counted in our wedding headcount and attend the private wedding events, the resort requires all guests to book through our travel agent’s room block. Contact Priscilla Sam-Ghartey at psgharteygroup@gmail.com or 240-743-6577.
Do you have a hotel block for guests?
Yes! Our block is at the Majestic Mirage Punta Cana from June 17 to 23, 2027. See the Travel page for rooms and rates.
How much is the deposit, and when is final payment due?
A $500 deposit per room reserves your spot. Final payment is due by April 16, 2027. Ask Priscilla about payment plans.
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes, the resort requires at least 3 nights.
What if I need to cancel?
Before April 17, 2027, cancelling costs the $500 deposit. From April 18, 2027 onward, cancellations are charged the full cost of the room. That’s why we recommend trip protection, which must be added within 7 days of submitting your names.
Can I share a room?
Yes. Suites hold up to 4 adults, and the per-person rate drops as more people share. Just tell Priscilla everyone’s name exactly as it appears on their passport.
The wedding
Are kids welcome?
Yes, children are welcome to attend our wedding celebration! Families should book the Family Club One Bedroom Suite, which is the suite in our block that allows children.
What should I wear?
Beach business casual for the welcome event and rehearsal, and formal attire for the wedding. See the schedule page for ideas.
Will there be alcohol?
Yes, there will be an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event.
I have a food allergy. Can I make a special request?
Yes, we’re happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions. Please let us know in advance.

Do I need a passport?
Yes. You’ll need a valid passport, plus the Dominican Republic’s free online e-Ticket entry and exit form, completed shortly before each flight at eticket.migracion.gob.do.
Which airport do I fly into?
Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ), about 30 minutes from the resort. Airport transfers can be added when you book with Priscilla.
I booked my own flights. What do I need to do?
Send your arrival and departure flight details to Priscilla at least 45 days before you travel so your airport transfer can be scheduled.
What’s the weather like in June?
Warm and sunny, typically in the upper 80s °F, with humidity and the occasional short afternoon shower. Pack sunscreen and light, breathable clothing.
What currency is used? Do I need cash?
The local currency is the Dominican peso, but U.S. dollars are widely accepted. The resort is all-inclusive, so a small amount of cash for tips and a credit card for incidentals is plenty.
